Emergency Preparedness Week is a great time to take a few simple, high-impact steps on the shop floor. Hydraulitechs recommends that manufacturing teams use this week to focus on three key areas aligned with the national guidance: (1) 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀, (2) 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 (3) 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

Ideas we have implemented at Hydraulitechs:

• 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸: Host a short safety huddle to review your site’s top three emergency scenarios (for example, fire, hydraulic leak, major injury) and what each person’s role is.
• 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹: Run a quick evacuation drill or simulated spill response during a low-risk period and time your response.
• 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: Have supervisors and operators verify that exits are clear, extinguishers are visible and inspected, spill kits are stocked, and eyewash stations are working.
• 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Establish morning stretch routine as a team!

Abe and Ladan are flying out today to Germany to meet with our distributor Xpress Seals for system commissioning and training — before joining them at Hannover Messe 2026, one of the world’s largest industrial technology expos.

At home, Dustin and Parsa will proudly represent Hydraulitechs at the Mining Supply Chain Forum 2026 in Saskatchewan, networking with many of the province’s leading mining companies and sharing how our hydraulic solutions can strengthen local operations.

Whether in Europe or Canada, our focus remains the same: advancing safe, efficient hydraulic repair, testing systems, and hydraulic solutions built for demanding industries worldwide.
