Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Siqueira (DDS) on being named the College of Dentistry recipient of the Provost’s College Award for Outstanding Teaching! 🎉👏
The Provost’s College Awards for Outstanding Teaching recognize educators across USask whose dedication, creativity, and impact exemplify the university’s commitment to exceptional teaching and learning. Each year, one educator from every college or school is selected for this prestigious honour.

When asked, “What lesson, habit, or way of thinking do you hope students carry forward from their learning opportunities with you?” Dr. Siqueira shared a philosophy that reflects her approach to education:

“I hope students carry forward the understanding that learning is not about getting everything right on the first try, but about staying curious, asking questions, and being willing to refine their thinking over time.”

Her commitment to fostering curiosity, resilience, and lifelong learning continues to inspire our students and strengthen our college community.

Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition! 💚🦷
