Oops…. I disappeared for a while…
Sometimes life hits you hard and fast. A mix of finishing my bachelors, starting my masters and the basement I rent flooding has left me burnt out and struggling to get into a creative headspace. Fear not I promise new art is on its way!

Some more water colour experimentation, it’s my first time painting a landscape using water colour and I’m pretty happy with the result!

The recent cold snap has me missing summer and I decided to bring a little piece of summer back with this painting. It’s a native wildflower here in Saskatchewan called Gaillardia aristata that I saw for the first time last summer while doing field work! I hope it brings some warmth to you during these cold times.

I never let myself keep the clothing I print so let me introduce you to the exception, I knew right away that I had to keep this one for myself
