Let us celebrate the Summer Solstice! In the northern hemisphere it is the longest day of the year and a beautiful reminder that life moves in cycles.

For generations, people have gathered at this time to celebrate the sun, the earth, abundance, and the turning of the seasons. It's a moment to pause and recognize what has grown, what has flourished, and what we want to continue nurturing through the months ahead.

While the world often encourages us to focus on what still needs fixing, the solstice invites us to look at what is already thriving.

The relationships we've built. The lessons we've learned. The challenges we've survived. The dreams that are beginning to take root.

As the sun reaches its peak, take a moment to step outside, feel the warmth on your skin, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the things that make you feel alive.

And if you're lucky, you might find a small floofy raven celebrating the sunshine, the wildflowers, and a little bit of midsummer magic along the way. 🖤

This weekend I'll be trading tarot cards for camera gear as I spend the weekend at the Toon Town Summer Pagan Fest. 🌞

Most of you know me from the all of the readings, classes, and magical adventures that have me traveling across Western Canada. What many people don't know is that photography has been part of my life for years, and it's one of the ways I love capturing the beauty, stories, and connections that happen within our communities, and for personal moments for so many of you.

This weekend, Raven is coming along as my little apprentice. He's learning the ropes, helping behind the scenes, and getting a glimpse into one of the other things I do when I'm not on the road visiting all of you.

We'll be spending the weekend overlooking the beautiful South Saskatchewan River, celebrating the season, enjoying community, and soaking up all the summer solstice energy that makes this event so special.

If you're attending the Toon Town Summer Pagan Fest, be sure to say hello. You might spot a very floofy raven trying to convince everyone he's a professional photographer.
