A Non-Profit Network of Food Programs; Harvest is an interconnected network of Food Security Programs within Salt Spring Island Community Services. We manage the growing, cooking, preserving, transporting, distributing and recovering of food on Salt Spring Island. The unique aspect to running multiple food security programs within one organization means we can make sure healthy food goes where it’s needed most.

Our Story
The Harvest Kitchen is a social enterprise that is part of the ‘Harvest’ Food Security programs of Salt Spring Island Community Services. All profits will go to Community Services programs and to feed the islanders who need food.
Harvest Kitchen is supported by ‘Second Harvest’, our food recovery program, and Harvest Farm, our Burgoyne Valley farm, supplying ingredients to produce all of the food for Harvest Kitchen. Thanks to Country Grocer for providing the instigation of this project and supporting it in many ways.
Open Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 2pm
We are located behind the Core Inn. You can find access us from McPhillips Ave by walking through the parking lot beside the Core Inn. Our white container is visible from the road. Come on down and try one of our delicious meals today!
