Relax and unwind in a beautiful forest cottage on Salt Spring Island. This is my own home in the winter so it is fully furnished and equipped.

The landscaping took about a month of up at 5:30 in at dark. I don't recommend it but it's done. Again a lot of the material was recycled, free or reused. All the rock and flag stones for the patios and the rock walls came from my property. The glass for the pathways was free from the glass foundry. The "gates" to my garden I got off of used Victoria. Thanks to some amazing help its done. Excavation - Ian Marcotte, Material trucking - Key Pawn Trucking, Tree removal - Marco Franz, Ross Hughes, and last but not least and most importantly my mum, Carol Penhale and dad and sister. Soooo lucky and excited!!

We built this cottage from the ground up. Everything from the foundation forms to the interior finishings. (With the help of Subs for electrical - Gary Stunder Thunder Electric, drywall mudding - Bill Boyd, insulation - Mike the Insulator and Max Miller consulted on plumbing that we did).
