Swing Shift

Swing Shift Big Band is a 17 piece jazz/dance band from Salt Spring Island, B.C. The band welcomes new members.

We play mostly swing music from the big band era, but also a little pop, latin, funk and more. We rehearse on Thursday evenings [7:15 pm to 9 pm] from September through June at the Salt Spring Island Middle School music room. We usually play 5 or 6 gigs a year, mostly dances and occasionally a stage performance ........ email [email protected] if you have questions about joining.
