Yes , .co did paint the room as well with 2 coats of Kilz primer and 3 coats of paint to cover the beautiful Salmon color that was the original paint from 1987 😜

Sometimes all I think about is you😍

On December 18, 2018 there was a winter storm on Salt Spring Island that brought down this Big Leaf Maple Tree. It stood over 80 feet tall and was somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 years old with the butt of the tree you see here 42” across.

It fell in steep bank area beside a creek. If you look closely at the photo , for size comparison you can see a creosote soaked power pole that was pushed right over.

The removal was just the first step in a series of fun processes to get the tree from steep bank to table 😂.

This tree became a lot of the tables and furniture that you see posted inside of .co Instagram over the last few years.
