Boaters visiting Ganges, Salt Spring Island, Francis bread is a short walk up the hill from Salt Spring Marina, located on the corner of Churchill rd just past Hasting House Country Inn.

Citrus season bringing some much needed colour in to the bakery right now. Orders are open on our website for this weekend. Fruit danishes like this are available every Friday.

Warm afternoon sun on an otherwise grey Febuary day. Winter is a lovely slow time of year to visit SSI by boat, the little cozy Treehouse Cafe is just steps from the dock in Ganges.

Cozy day aboard visiting Salt Spring Island, the wonderful smell of croissants in the oven fill your boat with warmth.

Country Grocery is one of my favourite places to provision, they carry a house made croissant that is sold frozen! This is such a nice treat to tuck away in your freezer for just this type of grey day. Also sold frozen and ready to bake is the most delicious cherry or apple strudel, perfect home made dessert from the galley oven.
