If you can come to our food trailer out of that time, we will be able to provide our maximum hospitality with plenty of time, so it would be great if you could. Anyway, we are always welcome you under any situation and the weather! (◍•ᴗ•◍)

明日は閉店とさせて頂きます。長男の卒業式とFIFA 日本のサッカー応援のためですので、お客様にはご迷惑をおかけします。金曜日より通常開店します。

We will be closed tomorrow. This is to attend my eldest son's graduation ceremony and to support Japan's soccer team at the FIFA World Cup. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

On Sunday, May 17th, 2026, we will be closed for the day, but the Japanese Association on Salt Spring Island will be hosting a Sakura Festival. Kitchen Kodama will be selling 30 servings of yakisoba. If you have the time, please come to Heiwa Garden (11:00-2:30)! I will be singing Japanese festival songs, so please come and cheer me on!

My two-month trip back to Japan ends today! I'd like to thank everyone who spent time with me and showed me around. I look forward to seeing you all again on my next visit.
