Humbled to have been invited to Heroes' Beacon's National Authors Day celebration, Friday, November 1, from 5-7pm! The gang will host a selection of local creators upstairs, for your meetin' and greetin' pleasure, to discuss, view and purchase their work. I'll have comics with me of course, including the few remaining copies my DCAF exclusive Art Edition preview of ILLEGAL BODIES upcoming Episode 06! Considering the intimate nature of the event, I may also bring some sketchbooks or art pages or something to that effect, but we shall see. Watch this space!

Dartmouth Comic Arts Festival - DCAF was yet another rewarding, illuminating experience as a relatively new cartoonist. Thanks so much to Cal and DCAF for the welcoming opportunity to table. ILLEGAL BODIES was kindly received by folks, and I look forward already to returning with more new work prepared in the future.

No pics of yours truly as I was flying solo and conserving phone battery for e-transfers, but I did have an opportunity during a visit from Emily Saab to scoot around with Vincent for a quick once-or-twice through, and pick up some goodies for the library.

Will try to tag some of the folks pictured here later, as the afore mentioned Vincent awakes. Thanks again to all encountered and here's to the next!

As we go into New Years 2024, dig this throwback to summer 2021! I had been reading Howard Chaykin's original American Flagg run, and it inspired this little helmet sequence that opens Episode 02. I initially penciled a dozen various panels on a sheet, and selected, cut out and taped these to the page for inking.

Great thanks to all who have supported my work in so many ways. I'm looking forward to carrying on everything built and learned thus far.

In addition to publishing PORTFOLIO ED 02 in the New Year, watch for introduction of a new Patreon.com/extrafinal subscription tier, wider distribution in the Maritimes, and most excitedly, the eventual release of ILLEGAL BODIES Episode 06!

SEND US LETTERS! Are you a regular reader of ILLEGAL BODIES? Picked up an Episode or two last year? Only just sorta heard of us? Your letters are welcome! Coming out later this summer, ANNUAL 01 collects Episodes 01-05, with new supplementary material featuring a good ol' fashioned letters page!

Review, crit, gaffs, or exhortation, I invite you to get it all off your chest! Letters may be edited for length and clarity, and inclusion will ultimately be up to what feels right for publication, but I would hope to share most anything that comes my way, space permitting.
