It’s time for Carmen to find her next person.

This mare is an old soul and as honest as the day is long ; truly the kind that feels like she was born broke. She is safe, straightforward, and uncomplicated to ride.

Carmen consistently runs high-17s on a regulation pattern with very little effort. She’s a true get-on-and-go type and would be a great fit for a younger rider or someone wanting a fun, competitive horse to learn and gain confidence on.

Maintenance & full disclosure:
Carmen does require maintenance. She has allergies that need to be managed, and she has tied up in the past. She does best on a dry forage diet and with consistent daily movement. Even light exercise (as little as 10 minutes of hand walking on busy days) has been enough to keep her from having an episode.

Her allergies are the reason she isn’t currently at the top of the 1D. She prefers to cruise and stay comfortable rather than be pushed to maximum effort. She is happiest running at about three quarter speed and doing her job quietly and willingly.

I am more than happy to have an open and honest conversation about everything we have tried so far to manage her allergies, including the different modalities and approaches we’ve explored.

I never planned on selling this mare and I absolutely adore her. However, she deserves more than simply becoming a broodmare at this stage of her career. She still enjoys her job and has plenty to offer the right home.

Cowboy 2.0 is a five year old AQHA gelding. Even though he's "just a sorrel", he has a presence that will catch the eye. This is a really gentle gelding that stays broke with time off. He has been heading steers for 7 months now and has really found his stride as a head horse. He stays quiet and relaxed in the box and has all the run you need. 2.0 is exceptionally broke in the bridle and rides really nice. He is available to try, located Maricopa Az

Gunner

11 yr old gelding. His main job has been a head horse and ranch horse, but he's also breakawayed and roped calves. He scores good, he has lots of run, he always stays broke, and is fun to ride out on the ranch as well. We also have done a lot of heeling on him as well. He is the same in the breakaway being great in the box and always willing to score. He has had some calves two man tied in the tie down and has been on the calf sled some as well! He does require minimal maintenance as well, but all of that information will be disclosed. Located in Maricopa Az

Rooster

He's big, strong, and gentle standing around 15.3. This horse has the size and power to handle any everyday job you have for him and also be a lot of fun at the ropings. For only being 6 years old this horse holds an impressive resume. From picking up broncs at rodeos, to helping on the hunting string in the mountains, to pulling calves at the branding and gathering cows on those cold fall mornings. Not to mention, he's worked the long days in the alleys at the sale barn. And the cherry on top is that he's gentle. He didn't acquire these attributes on his resume because he needed it. He got them because he was easy! He's old man to kid safe.

JJ

He's a 6 year old gelding standing at about 15.2hh. JJ is a solid head horse. He's been hauled and won on at all levels, sound, lots of run, and good in the box. Although he's big, he moves like a 15hh horse. You don't really notice it until it's time to throw the saddle on. He's also had a lot of ranch miles and life experience! Vet checks welcome at buyer expense. Located in Maricopa Az
