A timeless poolside escape that’s ready to suit-up for the season where slow afternoons meander into summer nights. Water has a way of making time feel wider, not faster.

Need a warm photo for these May showers (not flowers). Wasn’t always a gallery wall fan, I’d only done one before in a previous home, but for this spot it was either this or larger pieces, and I already had all this artwork on hand. The trick (for here) was making sure it didn’t feel too piecey and that there was negative space so it could breathe. There’s no real formula to it. You just use what you got, lay everything out on the floor, move it around a hundred times, and see what works for your eye.

Built for the view and built to last. We love decks because no two are ever the same. It’s the small, often unobvious details that make all the deck difference. This one, overlooking the river with its stone and shake backdrop, is a special one.
