It was a chilly and good night for a wagon ride in New Brighton, SE Calgary!!! Mike had Able and Baker ready to go in plenty of time for the 5:00 start.

Oh the fun!!! Able and Baker, the Brabant brothers, and our Suffolk stallion Percy, are frolicking. In the foreground is Chip, our sweet 26 year old QH who was born calm.
This evening, Mike hooked Bob up alongside Baker and set out on the gravel driveway with our NOISIEST wagon!! It creaks and rattles and the steel wheels are LOUD!! Check out how Bob handled it. And this is also his first time in a closed bridle (blinders on).
Any draft that could some day see a community event or parade needs to be ok with random stimulation. Bob is a rock star!!!
Banging, swinging and dragging milk jugs, walking over a crinkly tarp and Cavaletti, over a platform, through pylons and more… Mike Hopp (and Linda Magaw Hopp assisting with creating the chaos) did a💥 BANG💥up job tonight!!

And now, add Freyja to the training schedule. This sweet little Norwegian Fjord is 7 and knows stuff but there’s so much more to learn!! As usual, Mike Hopp starts at ground level to ensure a solid and safe foundation.
