This tournament goes on Saturday. There will be approximately 30 teams on the lake on Saturday in kayaks fishing for walleye and hoping for the big prize.

The dock is back in place at Daly Beach. After being buffeted by those strong winds the boys got it back in the water. Hopefully it’s there for the summer now.

Friends of Rivers Lake is excited to announce the purchase of a kayak launcher and dock which will be installed at Daly Beach early this summer. These projects are only made available through grants provided by our funding partners. The Thomas Sill Foundation graciously provided $3000 toward making this project possible and we would like to thank them.

We tried!!!! The boys put the floating dock in at Daly Beach on Thursday morning and by this morning the wind had blown it back up on shore. They will put it back out when the wind subsides!!!

Be aware that this water will be heading to Rivers Lake. Spring is on the way!!

For your information here are the historical freeze/thaw dates for Rivers lake. This is NOT the date the spillway stops or starts running which starts and stops at much different times.
