This accident was undoubtedly tragic for those on board the Dash-8. However, amidst a horrifying situation, an acknowledgement of the aircraft's advanced engineering, the crews' professionalism and preparedness, and the passengers' ability to remain calm and civil during this emergency seems warranted. 367 souls were saved!
