With the current new restrictions, and a Covid-vaccine passport being introduced September 13th, restaurants do need to make sure that there are options for customers to be able to order and pick up food without needing to step into the restaurant. Having an online ordering system where customers can prepay before pickup makes things more secure. It can get expensive if someone phones in an order and then not show up to pay for it. You can use your own merchant account to process this, and because it's part of the order process, most people won't even blink when it comes time to complete the order.

Now that indoor dining is available, having a good website that shows your menu is helpful to attracting customers. Because covid safety protocols still limit the number of people in the restaurant, having a take out menu online is helpful, while staff is busy attending to the dine-in customers as well.
