T1R GR Corolla exhaust prototype.

Finally we got the exhaust mocked up and fitted. Our original plan is to use a straight style muffler which suppose to make a few more horsepower. However, from our track data (by A&J Racing), we have tested with a rectangular shape muffler and we have gain straight line speed on the track with better lap times.

Our exhaust b-pipe is built with 76.3mm splitter into into 2 x 63mm . This maintains the low end power / acceleration and increase performance on mid-top end power.

T1R prototype GR COROLLA catted down pipe fitted.

We have a simple concept behind this development. Since the G16E-GTS is a low displacement engine so exhaust efficiency is more important than volume. The down pipe design is tapered, this creates exhaust velocity. This will improve low to mid rpm response.

We added a 200 cell catalytic converter and relocated on the front pipe. Factory heat shield can be reused on our down pipe. more info coming soon !

After a year of testing, we tested numerous springs rates and valving. Testing was done from on street and track. Our aim is to develop suspension that can have great street comfort and tracking ability.

We have reduced stock turn in digging before the back end rotates dramatically.

While our setup is stiffer than stock, it reduces a lot of body roll, which allows a lot more confidence in turns.

Mid corner stability & grip are greatly improved.

We have put our focus on rebound. With additional rebound, the dampers can take curbs nicely without any jumping to not upset the balance of the car through high speeds and rough tarmac.
