Earlier this month we took our summer interns out to lunch to celebrate the completion of their internships! 🙌 We are lucky to have one of our interns, Olivia, join us full-time and begin her career in insurance at BrokerTeam. We wish the rest of our interns success in their upcoming school year!

Last week, a few of our staff and brokers took the day off to give back to the community! We went to , the largest emergency housing provider in the York Region, and helped brighten up their facilities with some gardening work. 👍🌻😎

Last month a group of us from our head office helped prepare their shelter for expansion! Thanks Yubo and Lori for the opportunity to give back a little. We were so inspired by the team and their mission, we will be doing a holiday donation drive this season. More details to follow!

With the help of Hamilton & Burlington Cycling Without Age, we brought the joy of trishaw bike rides to the City of Markham last week! As a part of this year's Project SPOTLIGHT, the CWA team trained pilots from BrokerTeam and our sponsors to ride the trishaws and take seniors on a ride down the Main Street Unionville and Rouge Valley Trail. We closed the office in the afternoon and met up with our colleagues at Unionville to cheer on our pilots and get to know some of the seniors participating. We capped off the day with a $20,000 donation for this year's Project SPOTLIGHT beneficiary, Cycling Without Age thanks to the help of our generous sponsors. It was a sunny day of smiles and community!
