Canada’s plan to simplify and accelerate regulatory processes creates opportunity, but it must be done the right way.
Indigenous rights cannot be sacrificed for speed. Indigenous Peoples must be active participants in decision-making and see direct benefits from projects.
Strong projects are built on partnership, equity, and long-term community benefit. Economic reconciliation means Indigenous communities are included, respected, and share in the outcomes.
If you would like to schedule an information session please contact one of our FNPA offices in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Ontario.

May 5 is Red Dress Day.
A day to honour and remember the thousands of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people whose lives have been taken or forever changed.
Across Canada, red dresses are displayed as powerful symbols of loss, resilience, and the ongoing call for justice.
This day is not only about remembrance, it is about action. It is about listening to families, supporting communities, and committing to meaningful change.
We all have a role to play in advancing awareness, accountability, and safety for Indigenous peoples.
