The article covers what Power Pages is, common use cases, and where it fits within the Power Platform ecosystem—all in a way that's easy to share with colleagues, customers, and decision-makers.
Nice work, Malin! 👏

This throwback shows how to add a custom form modal to list action buttons—a technique that opens up some interesting user experience possibilities in Power Pages.
It may also be a good time to refresh your memory on this one, as some of the concepts will be relevant to upcoming posts in our bulk edit series.

Power Pages: Adding a Custom Form Modal to List Action Buttons - Engineered Code Recently there was a comment on my blog Power Apps Portals: Related Entity as Source of Next Web Form Step about adding a custom Edit button to a list or subgrid. In this case, rather than editing the main row in the table, they wanted to edit a row that was related to the main row. If you want the....

Missed our recent blog post on Power Pages list multi-select functionality?
The post was inspired by a question from Gil Shalem around implementing bulk edit scenarios in Power Pages.
As a first step, we explored how to enable users to select multiple rows from a Power Pages list—laying the foundation for bulk operations and other advanced user experiences.
This is just Part 1. We'll be continuing the series with additional posts focused on the broader bulk edit scenario and implementation patterns.

What bulk operations would you like to enable in your Power Pages applications?
Power Pages: Multiselect List - Engineered Code I recently received a question from Gil Shalem about adding bulk edit capabilities to a Power Pages List. Nothing like that exists out of the box, so if this is a requirement on your project, you'll need to explore using some custom code to accomplish this. Over the next few blog posts, I'll work th...
🚨 Common Mistakes Monday: "I'll Just Check This Box"
A developer creates a custom web role in Power Pages and notices the Authenticated Users Role checkbox.
Seems harmless enough.
😬
The catch? There should only be one web role per site with Authenticated Users Role enabled.
If multiple web roles have this checkbox checked, Power Pages will still treat only one of them as the authenticated users role—but you don't know which one.
That can lead to confusing, unpredictable security behavior that's difficult to troubleshoot.
For custom web roles, users should be granted access by associating their Contact record to the appropriate web role.
✅ Use Authenticated Users Role only on the out-of-the-box Authenticated Users web role.
✅ Assign custom roles explicitly.
One checkbox can make your security model a lot harder to understand than it needs to be.
