I run Off Shore Rentals here in Red Deer during the summer, and this year I’m looking at potentially expanding into winter recreation as well.
Some ideas I’ve been exploring are mobile sauna tent + cold plunge rentals, ice fishing packages with a heated shack and equipment, snowshoe rentals, and potentially guided snowshoe/winter hiking trips around Central Alberta.
Before I invest too heavily into anything, I’d love to hear what people around Red Deer and Central Alberta would actually be interested in.
Would you personally rent or book any of these? Is there something else you’ve wanted to try during the winter but haven’t been able to easily rent locally?
I’m mainly looking for honest feedback and doing some market research right now, so please let me know your thoughts!!
