Yesterday Jen and I attended the March For Life at the Alberta legislature. Most countries have limits on abortion. But not Canada, along with China, Guinea, North Korea and Vietnam.

The role of mother is sacred. Our mothers love and do so much for us. We love them! They are wonderful! Thank you for your leadership and unselfish service in your families and in our communities. Happy Mothers Day!
Have you ever got fake phone calls, emails or texts trying to trick you into providing sensitive personal or financial information? With artificial intelligence, there will be more cybercrime and it will be harder to detect what is true and what is false.
Alberta's Cybercrime Task Force is seeking to provide recommendations for legislative and regulatory options to reduce cyber fraud, identity theft and extortion.

Yesterday was a great day in Red Deer! In the morning, the Central Alberta Mayors Prayer Breakfast and in the evening, the Central Alberta Leaders Dinner with Premier Danielle Smith. Alberta is beautiful. It was great meeting many friends, men and women who love Alberta!

It is wonderful families and individuals at Home Church will be participating in the food drive for our Red Deer Food Bank. Red Deer families donated over 20,000 pounds in the drive last year!
Would you like to serve? It is easy. We will give you a map with about 100 homes and bags. You drop off a bag to each mailbox/door on the map next Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. It will take about an hour. Then on Saturday, April 25 between 10AM and noon, you pick up those bags our neighbors have filled with food and deliver those bags to our Food Bank (7429 49 Avenue).
I have participated in the food drive for over 10 years. It is simple and it is fun to do with friends or family members.
Please email [email protected] if you would like to participate in this community service.

Today thousands of friends and families celebrated HOLI, the Hindu spring festival of colours at Bhartiya Cultural Society of Alberta in Edmonton! It was fun!
Easter celebrates the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I loved sharing some of His words. Prior to doing the hardest, greatest thing that ever was done, Jesus said “in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Happy Easter!

There have been some misrepresentations on the op-ed and so it is shared with all who wish to read it firsthand and reach their own conclusions.

Thank you to the Western Standard for sharing my op-ed titled "A referendum on independence is good for Alberta".
Signing the petition to have a referendum vote is different from the referendum vote itself. Signing the petition supports your right to vote and decide on the objective merits, yes or no.
This right to vote should not presumed, it must be earned.
I invite Albertans to act, to sign the petition and also to invite all who love freedom and prosperity to do the same.
If Albertans do not act, there will not be a vote.
This referendum will hold Ottawa accountable, provide an opportunity for civil and honest discourse in the public square, and allow Albertans to decide for themselves what will produce freedom and prosperity for themselves and their families.
Alberta is simply the BEST, better than all the rest!

Red Deer will be making changes to homeless shelter this year. There are opportunities to make vital course corrections in doing so. But if there is not vigilance, changes could instead entrench issues for our beautiful city. We need to be firm on required changes. My MLA newsletter focuses on Red Deer's homeless shelter.
