Pups, Scamper, Rodeo, Spur, Cowboy and Filly are so excited to meet you at the Friday At The Park Market from 4 - 7 PM!

All pups are up to date on shots (1-3, depending on age) dewormer, microchip and eligible for delayed spay/neuter for an adoption fee of $600 (+$200 deposit).

If you'd like to adopt, please bring all members of the household, including any dogs, to meet your future best friend!

We need individuals or families who are willing to temporarily bring a pup into their home. People who will love that animal with every ounce of their being - until they can find their forever.

People who will take them from their harsh reality - one teeming in hopeless despair and give them the chance they truly deserve.

Right now they're sweet. They're snuggly. They're precious little angels, sleepy little mews escaping their perfect little mouths

In approximately 17 minutes, they'll wake up and transform into tiny, screaming, food-demanding gremlins who act like they've never eaten a day in their lives.

The only thing standing between us and complete chaos is... wet cat food.

We are a few days away from a full on mutiny here at the rescue...and we need your help!

Now Hiring: Part-Time Animal Care Attendant

Next Chapter Animal Rescue League is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and hardworking Part-Time Animal Care Attendant to join our team!

This role is perfect for someone passionate about animal welfare who enjoys a fast-paced, physically active environment. While you'll spend time caring for our animals, cleaning and sanitizing are a major part of this position. Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment is essential to the wellbeing of the animals in our care.

Schedule

Every other weekend (9:00 AM-1:00 PM), or
Every other Friday through Monday (9:00 AM-1:00 PM)
Additional shifts may be available based on availability.
Schedule will be determined with the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

Daily care, feeding, exercise, and enrichment for dogs/cats
Supervising outdoor yard time
Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of kennels, animal areas, dishes, equipment, and common spaces
Laundry and general janitorial duties
Following cleaning, sanitation, and biosecurity protocols
Assisting adopters and supporting volunteers
Other animal care duties as required

Qualifications

Passion for animal welfare
Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to follow established protocols
Comfortable with physically demanding work

Physical Requirements

Lift at least 40 lbs
Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Stand and walk for extended periods
Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Assets

Experience with dogs and cats
Previous experience in animal care, veterinary medicine, boarding, or rescue
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)

Wage
Starting at $16.00/hour, with a wage review after successful completion of probation. Employees who successfully complete probation may be eligible for an increase to $17.00/hour.
