While away from the shop, I found this granite surface plate for $35.00. It is 18x12x4 and weighs 83lbs. It’s in great shape and also came with a plywood cover. Great addition to the shop.

These were my hot wheel tracks from when I was kid. 50 plus years later after going through many family members, they were returned to me today for one of our grandchildren to play with. Spent so much time playing with Hot Wheels and Lego as a kid.

Latex Disk Cement. As you may know 3M has discontinued the popular feathering disk adhesive. We now have a new latex disk cement that will work on your 9” sanding disks. The latex comes in 1 quart sizes and can be purchased on our website.

Women of Steel Forward Program. This is a fully funded program provides learning opportunities for 18 women. This is a 12 week program with an opportunity for a 4 week Industry work placement at the end.

Our granddaughter wanted a new desk. I lucked out by recycling a coffee table from Kijiji which was a 24x48x1.5” solid maple top. Welded up some 1.5” square tube with adjustable feet for the legs. Then recycled an old sewing stool which was re-painted and recovered with a fuzzy fabric top. It turned out fantastic.

We are now stocking CEC Corp Epoxies, C-Bond and Instant Metal and Wood glues.

Finished pressing bearings in a batch of 2” Delrin wheels. Almost as shiny as aluminum.

I made my first knife this last weekend. I have been wanting to do this for so long. Paring knife, AEB-L with a Dymalux handle, green liners and brass pins. I learned so much and now realizing just how much I don’t know. Thank you to Lyle at for the lessons. It’s a great start for 2022.
