What an incredible start to the first day of the CFPM Summer Seminar!
This morning’s Run Club, led by our amazing Office Manager, Taylor, brought members together bright and early for an energizing shakeout through the beautiful sights of Halifax.
Taylor joined CFPM just over a year ago and since day one she has been an inspiration, a leader and an absolute joy to have on the Board. Her passion, positivity and commitment to our CFPM members continue to make a lasting impact and this morning was no exception.
From sunrise strides to great conversations and plenty of motivation, the Run Club was the perfect way to get warmed up and ready for a full day of exciting seminars and learning.
A huge congratulations to all the members who got up early, moved their bodies and embraced the energy of the morning. Your dedication, enthusiasm and community spirit are what make CFPM events so special.
Here’s to continuing to rise, run, repeat — together. Taylor Fielding

Remember Foot pain is rarely just a foot problem!!

Good luck to all the runners tomorrow! (Sorry about the weather forecast… if we could tape up the clouds and fix the rain, we absolutely would).

During Foot Health Month, I’m reminded that our feet carry us through far more than just miles, they carry us through challenges, growth, purpose and life itself!
Dr Vi McKay and I attended the expo and educated the many runners taking part in the 2026 Stewart McKelvey marathon in Fredericton this Mother’s Day weekend.
While working, networking, supporting patients, cheering on marathon runners and connecting with inspiring podiatry colleagues and health & sport professionals, one thing stood out to me tonight … resilience.
Every step tells a story.Every challenge builds strength.Every finish line starts with the courage to begin.
Seeing so many people take on marathons and personal challenges is a powerful reminder that success doesn’t come from standing still, it comes from showing up, even when the road feels long.
As podiatrists and health professionals, we don’t just treat feet; we help people keep moving towards their goals, passions and quality of life. Whether it’s running 26.2 miles, returning from injury, taking the first pain-free walk in years, or simply balancing the demands of work and life — movement matters.

✨ “Take care of your feet, and they’ll take you places you never imagined.” ✨

Here’s to supporting one another, inspiring healthier lives, embracing challenges and continuing to move forward — one step at a time.
