Here are some answers on questions we where asked:

Can we practice at GMR 7 days before the event? Yes you can because it will have no advantage at all as the track will not be running reverse until official practice Friday.

Will the track be open Thursday before the event? No, WCKC confirmed the track will not be open for practice on the Thursday as it will be move in day and track prep for the event.

Where can I get those cool BC Karting Championship sunglasses I did see at the track last weekend? They will be included for each entry! Collect all 4 of each round, and you can have the chance to win some fun prizes!

Heads up!! Some deadlines are coming up for the first round of the BC Karting Championship.

- All shifter drivers, as we did in 2025, we need to reach a minimum of 10 entries on Thursday April 23th by day end to be able to keep the shifter class on the schedule, so please sign up now!

- reserved paddock spaces must be submitted before April 25th.

-A late registration fee will be of $50 will be charged for all registrations received after April 28 th.

Welcome to the 2026 season! For this year we have made some exciting changes following the reviews we received from our racers.

- All events are now organized and officiated by the non profit organization BC Karting Association. A fixed group of volunteers from VIKA, WCKC and Cariboo Karters. This will help being consistent during the series.

- Race format. No more pre-final format but a more consistent format with practice on Friday, qualifier and 3 heat races on Saturday and a longer final on the Sunday. This will allow us to be done a bit earlier on Sunday to accommodate travel.

- Tires included in the entry fee. The series will sell and provide the LeVanto tire for the series. This will allow the series to prepare tire scanning and distribution on Friday, making the Saturday a bit easier for our racers and create a little bit of a budget for the series to give more back to the racers.

- Lot's of prizes and giveaways. Winners of each class at each round will receive a set of tires! Besides that, we will have prizes for driver of the day, mechanic of the day and lot's of other very exciting ways to go home with some very great prizes.

ITS TIME! Round 2 of the BC Regional Series kicks off today at Cariboo Raceway Park! Qualifying starts at 10:40am, followed by a lunch break. Racing begins at 12:45pm TODAY, and 9:30am tomorrow! Dont forget, SPECTATING IS FREE!
