It’s almost that time

Wow! What a night it was. Hadn't had the chance to capture fireworks with my camera since 2019 and I was happy to return to it. Though I couldn't hear much of the music that went along with the lightshow, it was quite the thrill to feel the shock that followed the very loud *boom* each time one of them was set off. There are still more shows coming, so if you haven't seen one yet, I highly recommend you head down to watch one before this season's over.

Right next to Grundy Lake there is another called Gurd. Not very wide, it had a mix of cold and warm water running through it which makes the sensation very strange when swimming in it.

I've spent most of the year learning how to grow plants, flowers, shrubs and vegetables. Though I've had some experience with tulips and cedars, I definitely would not say I'm an expert in the field. So, I've been learning online (YouTube and blogs mostly) to improve my green thumb. Yesterday, I decided I would dust off my maco lens (I haven't used it in a few years) and take some photos of my cannabis plants. I am fascinated with all the lines and intricate details that these plants produce. I hope you enjoy my next few shots, starting with this one.
