Teachers, help your students connect French-language learning with employability, entrepreneurship and community leadership!
Through I Work Here, teachers support students as they collaborate with social economy experts to design and launch entrepreneurial projects that respond to real local needs. Along the way, students strengthen their French-language skills, confidence and employability through authentic community experiences.
Teachers and students will work alongside experts from:
🤝 The Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité (CQCM)
🤝 The Regional Development Network (RDN) through its Social Economy Initiative, SEEnet
🤝 The Provincial Employment Roundtable (PERT)
𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞?
- High school students in Grades 9–11
- Students in Adult and Vocational Education Centres
- Selected classrooms can receive up to $1,500 in project funding

The film focuses on the experiences of three English-speaking newcomers to Québec City and the role of English-speaking organizations like the Voice of English-speaking Quebec and Partenaires JH Partners.
