Reminder that SPEAQ on Campus registration is open! You have until Sunday, February 1st to register for this incredible event happening on February 7 featuring workshops from a variety of educators. The event also includes a very useful resource fair, where you can get access to tried-and-tested activities and LESs from fourth year students, and a social networking event. See below for the schedule.

Tickets are 25$ for students and include a lunch and snacks. Attendance to SPEAQ on Campus can also count as a professional development activity for your portfolio!

Alexandre Noël, our Second-Year Representative 🚴‍♂️

Alexandre is the CEO of “How many kilometres is too many?, a question he keeps trying to answer every Sunday, usually somewhere between studying, running, and whatever caffeine source he happens to find along the way. ☕️

He’s also mastered the art of living by his calendar. Truth be told, it probably knows more about his life than he does. 📅

In short: energetic, determined, and the guy you want on your team if you ever decide to sign up for a race on a whim.

Mathilde Proteau, our fourth Year Representative 🎓

Mathilde is the CEO of applying APA format to every group project: citations, references, hanging indents… she has it down to a science. 📝

She’s also in her final stretch, graduating this year and carrying the calm confidence of someone who has survived way too many deadlines. ✨

In short: organized, dedicated, and the person you definitely want reviewing your bibliography.

Lily Bourgeois, our Internal Affairs VC 🗂️

Lily is the CEO of taking notes, if something happened in a meeting, trust that she has it written down with her handy dandy ruler, highlighted, and organized 🗒️✨

She also loves treating her APEAL family with little goodies, whether it’s snacks, baked treats, or just something tasty to brighten the day. 🍪💛

If you ever need a solid skincare recommendation, she’s your girl. She has a routine for every season, skin type, and crisis.

In short: a chatty Cathy who solves problems before you even realize there is one.
