HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Pilates queen!!
You know those people who walk into your life and instantly feel like they’ve always been there? That’s Reghan!
I still remember the very first class she took at the studio. It was obvious right away that movement had been a huge part of her life, and from that moment on, the rest was history.
Even though she’s only officially been part of The Sweat Project team for a few months, it honestly feels like she’s been here forever. Her knowledge, experience, and passion for movement are such a gift to our community. Every class she teaches is intentional, creative, challenging, and somehow always leaves you feeling stronger than when you walked in.
But what makes her so special goes far beyond her classes. She’s always happy to jump in and help wherever needed, always brings the best energy, and has become such an important part of our team culture. Not to mention she’s also won over my kiddos and become a friend to them too.
We are SO lucky to have you, Reghan! Thank you for everything you bring to our studio, our team, and our community. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things still to come!!

Happy Birthday !!

MEET THE OWNER!

Hi, I’m Jessy!
I’m the founder and owner of The Sweat Project here in Qualicum Beach, and movement has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Before stepping into the fitness industry, I was a competitive dancer , which is where my love for movement first began. At 17 years old, I started teaching group fitness classes at an amazing gym called Waterloo Women’s Club, and from that moment on, I was hooked!
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats in the fitness industry-from group fitness instructor to personal trainer, fitness manager, and everything in between. Each role helped me grow, learn, and deepen my passion for helping people feel strong, confident, and empowered through movement.
The Sweat Project Movement Studio has been a dream in my heart for a very long time. Today, as I watched the walls being built, I had one of those powerful full-circle moments. It felt like every step of the journey-from teaching my very first class at 17 years old to where I am today-came together in that moment. Seeing this dream become a reality was incredibly emotional and a reminder that passion, perseverance, and a whole lot of belief can take you places you never imagined.
What I love most is creating a space where people feel welcome, supported, and excited to show up for themselves. Fitness has given me so much throughout my life, and being able to share that with this incredible community is truly a dream come true.
I cannot wait to open the doors, welcome you into this beautiful space, and create something special together. Thank you for being here, supporting this journey, and being part of The Sweat Project family!
The best is yet to come.
xo,
Jessy

We are SO excited to finally introduce our newest Spin instructors!
These two have been part of The Sweat Project family for quite some time, and watching them step into this new role has been pretty incredible!
If you know Krystal, you know how much she loves Spin!! Her passion and enthusiasm are absolutely contagious. We’ve talked about her becoming an instructor for a long time, and when our most recent teacher training started, that dream finally began to become a reality. But it didn’t happen without a lot of hard work!
There is so much that goes on behind the scenes when you’re learning to teach Spin-showing up for training sessions, spending hours choosing the perfect songs, coming into the studio late at night to practice, and putting in the work over and over again.
Today, Krystal put on the mic and led three songs in the noon hour class. Every bit of her hard work paid off. She absolutely crushed it!
And then there’s Jill. This girl has a heart of gold and is one of the kindest, most genuine humans you’ll ever meet. Many of you know her as an RMT .beach.health . She’s been active her whole life and also has experience as a dance teacher, so the transition into becoming a Spin instructor felt incredibly natural.
Today, she taught a couple of songs in the 10am class, and I couldn’t be prouder. It was truly a proud mom moment. ❤️
Congratulations, Krystal and Jill, on putting on that mic and leading for the very first time at The Sweat Project. We are so lucky to have you on our team, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience your energy, passion, and talent.
You’ll start seeing them teaching alongside our other instructors, and their Community Classes will be coming soon. Stay tuned-we know you’re going to love them as much as we do!

Happy Birthday to our amazing Marlene!
Our stretch queen, biggest encourager, and such a huge part of what makes The Sweat Project feel like home. Not only does she lead the best stretch classes, but she’s also right there beside our members- showing up, working hard, supporting others, and always bringing the best energy into the room.
Marlene has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they walk through the doors. Whether it’s through her classes, her encouragement, her positivity, or one of her signature hugs, she makes such an impact on this community without even trying.
She motivates people in so many ways and genuinely cares about every person who walks into the studio. We’re so grateful for everything she brings to our team and for the heart she pours into this space every single day.
The Sweat Project is so lucky to have you, and we’re even luckier to know you. Hope today celebrates you the way you deserve!

STUDIO UPDATE!!!
Framing has officially started and WOW… seeing everything begin to take shape is the coolest feeling ever. Being able to actually walk through the rooms and finally feel the layout in real life has me SO excited. It’s all starting to feel real now!!
Watching this space go from a dream and a vision into something I can physically stand inside of is honestly blowing my mind. Every day there’s something new happening, and with each step I get more excited imagining everything this studio is going to become.
I seriously cannot wait to bring this space to life and share it with all of you. Thank you for following along and being part of this journey with me!

Today was really special. 💜💜💜
Thank you to everyone who came out for our Mother’s Day Walk & Run this morning. Whether today is a joyful day, a complicated one, a painful one, or somewhere in between, I’m grateful we could share space together with kindness, movement, and community.
Mother’s Day can hold so many different emotions. For some, it’s a day of celebration and gratitude. For others, it can bring grief, longing, loss, or heaviness. I hope today reminded everyone that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
I’m so thankful for every person who showed up, walked, ran, volunteered, encouraged someone else, or simply chose to be part of this morning. This community continues to show what The Sweat Project is truly about-connection, compassion, strength, and showing up for each other exactly as we are.
I love this Sweat Project community so much, and mornings like this are such a beautiful reminder of how lucky we are to have each other. Thank you for making today special!
