Q: Will washing my lashes make them fall out faster?
A: Absolutely not. In fact it will help you retain them longer.

Retention is the term for how long you lashes stay on, and retention is actually proven to be longer when you are cleansing properly. That is because oil breaks down the adhesive, so when you don’t wash your lashes, the oil produced from your meibomian glands and eyelids build up on the lashes and cause them to shed faster. Washing daily also prevents belpharitis and an over accumulation of eyelash mites.
