The Venture Accelerator Program (VAP) is northern BC's go-to coaching program for entrepreneurs and innovators — whether you're launching a new venture or growing an established one.
One-on-one coaching, shaped around what you're actually facing. Your coach works through your specific roadblocks and opens doors to new opportunities, key contacts, and funding.
You start with our online course, using the Business Model Canvas to build out your own model. From there, your coach helps you implement it — and fill in the sections you need help on:
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Market validation
- Sales and marketing
- Financial management
- Operations
- Investment readiness
Those sections become anchors you return to throughout your coaching, keeping you focused on the strategy inside your model. The real value is having someone in your corner who's been where you are — and already paid for the lessons you're about to skip.

This is a casual evening of conversation and connection. The night is a relaxed, no agenda meetup. A chance to get out, catch up, Network, and build community!

Kicking off the first day of our 5-Day Business Bootcamp for Build Your Own Future (BYOF) here in Prince George with our facilitator, Colin McWhinnie!
Over the next five days, participants will be working through the fundamentals of building and growing a business, developing their ideas, strengthening their business knowledge, and gaining practical tools they can take with them on their entrepreneurial journey.
We’re excited to see the ideas, conversations, and connections that come out of this week!

We're launching a new cohort of our Build Your Own Future program (BYOF) in Prince George this August 10th to 14th, to help those impacted by the 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗽 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲.
BYOF helps workers whose employment has been affected by BC mill closures 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, supplying free training, ongoing support, and a grant of up to $5,000 to cover start up costs.
