The biggest retention issue I've run into lately is the mascara and cluster/strip lash glue. So lock in because I'm going to vent about it. 🫡

I've had people show up to their appointment wearing strip lashes and clusters. Why is this an issue? This type of glue doesn't come off easily. It doesn't come off unless you scrub HARD or pick it off.. which I'm not going to do to you and residue is always left behind which causes retention issues.. This kind of glue can be more easily removed by using an oil based cleanser.. which I CAN'T do as extension glue won't adhere to oily lashes. Fighting to remove this glue also cuts into your appointment time which can result in a full set not being achievable. 🛑

Mascara, similar issues. Some mascara doesn't come off with the gentle lash cleanser I use, which means there is residue and clumps left behind, which means your extensions are being glued to mascara and not to your actual lashes. Mascara will also rip off your lash extensions when you use it between fills. If you want to be a mascara girlie, be a mascara girlie. ✨️

Showing up with mascara (on your top lashes), strip lashes or clusters will result in a cancelation of your appointment. Repeatedly doing this will result in not being able to book anymore. Your eye health is SO important to me. Refusing to do services on unclean lashes is stricly for your eye health.
