That's a wrap for Derek Joyce Music.
This has been, for the most part, my favorite project to work on. Derek is a great lyricist, had a vision, and stuck to what he wanted. It was a privilege to record and mix this body of work, and I can't wait to hear the mastered versions of these songs.
There were deaths, sickness, and exhaustion during the making of this record, but we kept marching toward the goal line. Even when those lines were blurred at moments, we still pushed forward. And to Derek's credit, his vision for this project remained constant like the north star.
I'm super proud of the work I and everyone involved put toward this record: Justin's drums, Lisa's vocals, and Aiden's bass. The choir, the trumpet, the harp, and the piano; so many people passed through our doors to make this project and what was in Derek's head come to life.

A really cool evening at The Ranch with and company. First time using this microphone configuration. First time with a choir in this location. They sounded so good.
The Trident 80B sounds so warm and punchy. I love it.
