Please note that the Scugog Memorial Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labour Day. Regular library hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.

Kick-off September with a relaxing afternoon of Tea & Books!

Enjoy a cup of tea and some delicious treats while library staff discuss their latest reads and share excerpts from their picks. Come and discover some great new books! Registration is not required.

Have you been collecting stamps as part of our Summer Checkout Challenge? If so, this is your last weekend to collect stamps! Once you have 10 stamps, you’ll be entered in our draw for a chance to win our Treats of the Town gift basket. Be sure to submit your completed cards by Monday, August 31st.

Thursday Mornings at 10:30am, just behind the library. We’ll have all your favorite stories, songs and activites outside in the sun!

Join us for the next talk in the Heart of the Story series! These evenings offer special readings by the visiting authors and the opportunity to discover the inspiration behind their work. In September we will be welcoming Cate Cochran, author of How My Dog Saved My Life.
