Today we observe National Day of Mourning. We remember workers who have died, were injured, or became ill from their job. We commit to protecting workers and preventing further workplace tragedies. The hands on the Town Hall clock are missing. Don’t worry, they will be returned! The original hands were made of wood and have become saturated with water over time. Watch for the new aluminum hands being installed soon.

Congrats

Congratulations to the staff team at the Jack Burger Sports Complex and our community! The Lifesaving Society of Ontario awarded them fifth place in the Scarborough Cup. This award is given to the Municipal affiliate with the largest life saving program.
