Strike up some fun at the library! On Wednesday, June 24, drop in between 1:30 and 3:30 PM and spend an afternoon at the library with Nintendo Switch Sports Bowling for Adults!

Whether you’re aiming for a strike or just playing for laughs, enjoy a casual afternoon of virtual bowling with other adults in a relaxed and welcoming space. No experience necessary. Staff are on hand to get your started.

Need a space for a video interview, online class, telehealth appointment, or just to get things done? FVRL’s library pods offer a comfortable semi-private glass enclosed space for one person to connect, meet, and work.

Each pod includes:
▪️A small desk and chair.
▪️Power outlets for your devices.
▪️Interior lighting and ventilation.

ℹ️ Pods are sound‑dampening (not soundproof), so you can speak at a normal, respectful volume while still being mindful of others nearby.

💻🎧 Bring your own device (laptop, tablet, phone, headphones etc.) and we’ll provide the space.

Let your imagination run full STEAM ahead with Maker Mondays! Drop in to the library on Monday, June 22 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, you can kick off this year’s Summer Reading Club by making your own Aqua Board! Create a fun bulletin board or ocean-inspired decor with sea creatures, seaweed, and all things under the sea.

Suitable for ages 8 – 12. Caregivers need to remain in the library if children are under 10.

We had a most delicious time at Terry Fox Library's Book Tasting: The Next Course on Saturday afternoon. Readers enjoyed expanding their To-Be-Read list with new authors and genres.
