📸Green Screen at the Farmers' Market
Friday, August 21, 9:45 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Stop by our booth at the Port Colborne Farmers' Market to have your photo taken in front of our green screen. We will take your image and place you on the background of your choice, creating a digital postcard sure to dazzle your friends and family.

Ahoy! From, Port Colborne
⛵During Canal Days, individuals, friends, and families stopped by our booth and posed in front of our green screen with fun props and selected one of our iconic Port Colborne backgrounds: Lock 8, The Incredible Shrinking Mill, the Museum, and of course, the Library!
📬Each family will be sent a free souvenir postcard in the mail.
🫶Thank you to all those who took time during Canal Days to visit the library's Ahoy! green screen booth. We hope you had as much fun as we did! We look forward to seeing you again next year!
My Dream Borrow Contest Winner Announcement
🎉Congratulations, Frannie! Frannie's 2026 My Dream Borrow contest submission was for a record player and the library was able to make her Dream Borrow (and so much more) come true. Not only did Frannie receive the honourary first borrow of the record player, but she also was given the opportunity to borrow/hold vinyl record albums from the bands who played the main stage during this year's Canal Days - JJ Wilde (album on the way!), Bleeker, Big Wreck, Bedouin Soundclash, Street Pharmacy, and The Strumbellas.
A huge thank you to Ryan from Street Pharmacy for being a part of the celebration, including almost getting loud in the library!

🐟 Dive In Art Gala Artist of the Week
This week we'd like to introduce Logan. She focused her talent on saltwater painting and created a piece she titles, "Ocean World".
We hope you will come by and check out Logan's creation and all the other artists' works, as well as sign 🖊 the guestbook!
