At the FIRST Ontario Provincial Championship 2026, held at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, students had the chance to explore what comes next beyond the competition field ππ€
The Championship included celebrating our 2026 Alumni of Distinction Award winners Emily Haws and Ramy Ghattas, connecting with fellow alumni, and enjoying our Alumni Celebration for graduating Grade 12 students and FIRST alumni.
Students also connected with alumni-founded companies like Logics Academy and Jetson Infinity, while exploring opportunities with incredible industry and education partners including Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology, Hatch, CME, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Sheridan College, Brock University, the Canada Cup of Robotics, and McMaster University.
Teams explored the FIRST Canada booth, experienced the FSSIM.org VR skilled trades simulator, and learned more about FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge.
Because FIRST is more than robots. Itβs where lifelong friendships, career pathways, and future leaders begin βοΈπ‘
