🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation StoryWalk 🧡

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we invite our community to take part in a special self-guided StoryWalk at Clyde Memorial Park on September 30.

Walk, read, reflect, and learn together as you experience Stolen Words by Melanie Florence, illustrated by Gabrielle Grimard — a moving story about the importance of language, culture, family, and reclaiming what was lost.

📅 September 30
⏰ 10 AM – 3 PM
📍 Clyde Memorial Park
🧡 Drop in • All ages • Self-guided

After completing the StoryWalk, stop by the library to take part in a collaborative craft. Each person can contribute a piece, and when it’s complete, the finished creation will be proudly displayed in the library.

We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful opportunity to read, reflect, create, and learn together.

Stories, creativity, and community made for a wonderful week!

We enjoyed seeing everyone at Storytime and Da Vinci’s Workshop, and we were thrilled to take part in the Maple Grove Open House. Here are a few moments we captured along the way!

Drop in every Friday from 1:00–6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. for Da Vinci’s Workshop. Our child-led creative space where kids are free to explore, create, and use their imaginations!

We provide the materials, and you bring the creativity!

Join Hilary for Storytime every Friday from 10-11am! For children of all ages and their parents/caregivers.

This week at Storytime, we’re celebrating fall with Fall Fun by Anita Bijsterbosch! After the story, we’ll make our very own fall wreaths. We can’t wait to see you for a morning of reading, creativity, and play! 🍂
