Apologies for the delay. This past Remeberance Day, the Pender Highlanders were honoured to lead the parade at the legion for our Remeberance Day Ceremony. We are very greatful to our veterans that have served to protect us here, at home and abroad.

A long over due post.

This past October, the Pender Highlanders were happy to perform twice at the Crisp Festival. We played in the morning for the opening ceremonies, and again in the afternoon, this time joined by Victoria’s own Canadian Scottish Regiment. We are very thankful to have been part of such a wonderful event, surrounded by amazing people and talented musicians.

We’d also like to congratulate our youngest member, Jack Martin, on the incredible opportunity to open both Friday’s and Saturday’s evening concerts. He delivered two outstanding performances congratulations, Jack!

The Pender Highlanders are honoured to play for The Crisp this coming Saturday, October 4th. We'll be playing for the opening ceremonies at 9:30am and again in the afternoon at 1:30pm, this time joined by the Canadian Scottish Pipes and Drums from Victoria. We're also happy to announce that our youngest piper, Jack Martin will be opening both Friday and Saturday evening concerts above the community hall at 7:15pm. We hope to see you there!

What a fantastic Terry Fox Run. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Terry Fox Foundation and their pursuit to finding a cure for Cancer. We are honoured to have played the masses off of the starting line and we can't wait for next year's run.

A huge thank you to the Pender Island Farmers’ Institute for their generous donation to us at the Pender Highlanders and our community. Your support means so much and helps keep our island spirit strong.
