We just said goodbye to our “little piece of heaven”, as our guests used to affectionally call it. Four Winds Cottage Resort is now part of our history and the memories left will be forever treasured in our minds and hearts.
There was so many great accomplishments, laughter, joy, happy moments, successes along with hard work, tears, frustrations and sacrifice. It was very challenging but worth every minute of it and one of the best part of it was the amazing people we got to know along the years and we will miss them all dearly! So, we want to say a BIG thank you to all our amazing guests that made Four Winds so special and wish everyone all the very best!!
We also wish the new owners much happiness and success with this amazing property aka ‘Little piece of heaven’!

It has been a raining Thanksgiving weekend and that’s one more reason for us to give thanks for! Nature needs water to be nurtured, grow, look beautiful and put up a show for us!

To celebrate Canada Day, we are introducing…
STARGAZER
Emerged from the bottom of Manitouwabing lake, after hundreds of years sleeping, Stargazer woke up to remind us of his kind heart and how he touched and saved many lives!
He was a sweet and kind man who would go around helping people in their most difficult times in life, showing everyone that kindness goes a long way and makes big differences in our lives!
One day, Stargazer encountered a dark hearted individual who was not happy with his good work so, this individual gave Stargazer a magic potion that should put him to sleep forever however, Stargazer’s heart was too kind to cease to exist forever and now he resurfaced to remind us that a good heart and kind actions can live forever if one wishes so.
Always remember… a kind heart goes a long way, no matter what world we live in.
