Here are some fun photos of Parry Sound’s first bike shop, on Cascade Street, run by John Kearns. The shop was the start of 10 speed roads bikes in Parry Sound and a place for local cyclists to get service. John ran the shop between 1973-1975 before heading off to college. Thanks John for starting something we’re proud to carry on.

Views of the Wednesday Night Road Bike Group Ride!
Interested in joining one of our rides? Stop by the shop, check out the website (link in bio) or join us for a Wednesday to see what it’s all about. There are 3 distance groups each week, 25kms, 45kms and 60kms on paved routes. The ride starts and ends at the shop, with a social to follow.

We hosted the next generation of cyclists. We presented on bike safety and how to do a basic bike check to Kindergarteners from Parry Sound Public School. Thanks for visiting us. Special thanks to Fern for playing “Pedals the Bike Panda” to ensure the presentation was fun and engaging.
Lots of new product has been restocked this week here at Parry Sound Bikes. First off we have brand new women’s mountain bike clothing from . For the men….road cycling jerseys from is now here in edge green and ground brown. We officially carry cycling classes! The shop has just received new Parry Sound Bikes mugs made by in new colours. We also have new cycling lights, aluminum bottles and nutrition bars.

We rode the mountain bike trails in Huntsville today! Fun trail network and only an hour away. Climbing rewarded by fun descents and the right amount of tech. Well done !

Our annual 100km road ride is Sunday July 12th. Register today!
