North Stone Electrical is a construction and maintenance electrical company based out of the Parry Sound area.
Owner Matt Stone is a Master Licensed electrical contractor with over 16 years experience in the trade.
This is one of the worst panels we’ve come across for a while. What an absolute rats nest of wires in the panel, generator panel and everywhere between. We ripped everything apart, installed a transfer switch before the panel and removed all the un-needed mess and installed a new panel on fresh plywood. No more confusion on what’s on the generator and what’s not and a fully labeled panel is a breath of fresh air for our client!

A few years back I was part of this project when these clients raised there cottage and we wired the new basement. We got the call recently as the decision was made to keep going up! Taking the roof off revealed a wiring nightmare so we went in to clean things up as they prepare to put a new floor on. We will be back to rough in the new upstairs once they are ready. Stay tuned for the progress!
We’ve been back at our Lorimer Lake project finishing up the basement. We’re looking forward to coming back to trim this cottage out and bring it to life. Although the snow is quite picturesque, we’re ready for it to go away any time now. Bring on spring!

Sometime we find cool old stuff as we work. You never know what’s hiding behind the walls, floor joists or attics in historic buildings.
PANEL CHANGE DAY! Today we tackled the panel at our current k**b and tube job in Rosseau. A dated panel, sub panels, messy wiring, ungrounded wiring, we cleaned it all up! What a difference! Check out our progress!

We woke up this morning to a new 5 star review from our current k**b and tube project! Thank you to our new clients for the very kind words. It’s been a pleasure helping with their new home and it’s been a great learning job for our apprentice Connor. And of course we love dogs 😉 a nice way to start our day.
Our clients just purchased a century home in the beautiful village of Rosseau. Their insurance company would not provide them with home insurance due to the home still containing k**b and tube wiring. About 80% of the home was still powered by the historic wiring. We’ve been working hard de-energizing and eliminating the old unsafe wiring. Using wiring fishing techniques and crawling in tight attics, we’ve been able to get new grounded wiring in place with new boxes and devices for safety. We’ll be replacing the panel and cleaning up more unsafe wiring next week so we can get the customers home safe and ready to move into with peace of mind. Stay tuned!
