Our awesome friends at the Georgian Bay Biosphere - GBB are distributing Kids in the Biosphere activity kits to Whitestone families! Included are self-guided nature activities and equipment. The best part? These kits are yours to keep!

This week at the Whitestone Public Library:

The Strawberry Social is only one week away! Join us at the Dunchurch Community Centre on Tuesday, June 23 from 1 to 3 PM.

Thank you so much to our awesome volunteers for organizing, setting up, and serving at this annual event! We appreciate all you do!!

🪴 A HUGE thank you to our incredibly hardworking volunteers who spent their time planning, preparing, and planting the garden beds! The gardens are looking gorgeous!

We appreciate lots of helping hands, so if you spot dry soil 🔎 or errant weeds 🪏 on your way into the library, please don't hesitate to use the watering cans by the water barrels. All produce grown in the gardens is distributed within the community.

The seed library is still going strong within the library if you haven't planted yet! New to gardening? We have plenty of materials on seed saving, compost, container gardening and more.

At the end of the month we're making keychains in Ardbeg! Join us on Monday June 29th at 1 PM at the Ardbeg Community Club to join in the fun.
