I will be re-opening my Massage Therapy clinic as of June 8th 2020, though on a limited basis as my regulatory body (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) prescribes a gradual re-opening. As of now, I will work on Mondays (noon to 8 pm), Wednesdays (10 am to 6 pm) and Fridays (10 am to 6 pm).
To all my clients: if you have not received the most recent email I sent out (May 29th) regarding the opening of the clinic then please go to www.davidzulak.com to read a copy of it there. (if you click on the image below you should be taking to my web site.) It contains some important information about requirements for attending an appointment, for example, that clients must arrive wearing a mask and need to wear the mask throughout the appointment. That you will also have to answer a screening questionnaire for COVID-19 symptoms before each session; etc.
Remain safe and take good care of yourselves as the province begins its step to re-opening.

Fascinating findings in variations in the Achilles tendon. Different positions the 3 tendons that make it up are attached to the heel, and how much of a twist (!) the 3 tendons undergo before attaching, may well affect what activities or sports will predispose one to Achilles tendonitis/tendinosis or protect one from developing a problem. [Thanks to Tera Rosa for posting this.]

New research shows that concussions loosens the myelin sheath (protective covering and what improves speed of nerve transmission) around brain cells. The good news is that it will repair within two months.
