The late summer days of early September provide a backdrop of beauty and change in the earth community around us. Join us for a gathering of spirited women for time to engage in practices of nourishing body, mind and spirit in the company of other women and on the beautiful land at Five Oaks.

Come and engage more deeply with your core strengths and strategize together about how to engage them more fully in your life at whatever age or stage you find yourself.

Women of Spirit Retreat - Sept. 9-11, 2016

Do you feel you need time to refresh your spirit and replenish your spiritual resources? Are you longing for a break from all the outer activity and noise in your life - to just be with Spirit?

If so, join us for a three part series To Enhance Spiritual Life And Practices with Anne Simmonds.

Sessions will include: a variety of prayer practices including movement, stillness, silence and journaling; discussion in large and small groups, as well as time for individual reflection, outdoor time, lunch and conversation. A safe space will be created for participants to bring their honest reflections, experiences and questions to the group. These days of rest and restoration are an opportunity to practice much-needed self-compassion.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the first of three gatherings - Participants must commit to all three. (Sept. 19, Oct. 17 & Nov. 14, 2016).

Cost: $225 for the full series - this includes lunch at Five Oaks

Hope to see you all at Five Oaks Wed. June 29th for a Day of Honouring and our Annual General Meeting!

If you haven’t done so already, please RSVP your attendance for June 29th by contacting the office prior to the day. Be sure to let us know if you plan on attending any of the honouring events, especially lunch, so the wonderful ladies in the kitchen know how many to prepare for. The schedule for the day’s events has been included below, as well as on the agenda.
In preparation for our time together and the voting that will take place during the AGM, we have a few logistical details to share:

• Registration required upon arrival at Five Oaks in the Upper Room – All guests must register when they first arrive – A registration table will be set up from 8:45 – 1:45

• All members and proxy holders will receive voting cards upon registration. Ballots will be issued when required throughout the business meeting.

• Bring your own lawn chair and reusable, eco-friendly water bottle if you plan to attend any of the day events, and/or lunch.

• If you are attending the “Renewing the Spirit” Ceremony, and self-identify as a women, you may wish to wear a dress
