Canadian Amethyst is a home-based business located in Paris, Ontario. The shop is set up in our garage and displays hundreds of samples.
When I was 9 years old I wanted an iPod and I was told that I needed to earn the money myself. My parents suggested that I sell amethyst from their friend's Thunder Bay-based mine here in southern Ontario. That year I made more than enough money to buy an iPod by selling amethyst to tourists at a local market (and I have been selling amethyst every summer since). Then the pandemic hit, and I had
