What a day we enjoyed on Saturday celebrating spring and the launch of Local Stories: Changing Weather!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Spring into Moreston featuring Voices for Climate Action.

The performers, Luke Wallace and Music by david sereda, delivered two incredible sets. The Owen Sound and District Junior Optimist Club kept everyone well-fed with a delicious BBQ, while the Bluewater Railroaders delighted train enthusiasts of all ages. The community booths were a wonderful addition, and the Bluewater District School Board SHSM Agriculture Program (and their adorable animals!) were a huge hit. Of course, our amazing Grey Roots volunteers brought everything together, animating the Village as only they can.

A special thank you to Community Foundation Grey Bruce for making this event possible, and congratulations to the Georgian Bluffs Climate Action Team on the launch of Local Stories: Changing Weather - we’re already hearing fantastic feedback.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the support of Domm Construction Ltd., our Event Sponsor, and Germania Mutual Insurance, our Activity Sponsor, for helping make the day such a success.

And last (but never least), thank you to the 450+ attendees - including a great group of local Army Cadets. You’re the reason we host events like this, and we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon!
